AI smart cameras that know the difference between a person, a vehicle, and a windblown branch — and only tell you about the things you actually care about. Integrated access control that ties door entry to your video, your team, and your schedules. Installed, configured, and supported by Maverick & our partner Security AllStar.
The previous generation of security cameras recorded everything 24 hours a day and produced 30 days of useless footage no one ever watched. AI smart cameras only tell you about events that matter. Person detection, vehicle detection, license plate capture, intrusion-zone alerts, line-crossing detection — the system filters the noise and surfaces the events.
We are not a 24/7 monitoring service. We design, install, and support the system. Your team views live footage and responds to alerts — or you contract with a dedicated monitoring company for live review (we'll recommend one if you want). We configure the system to send alerts to the right people for the right events, and we keep it running.
When access control is paired with video, the system tells you not just that someone entered, but who, when, and what they did after.
Camera and access systems are a specialty discipline. Done well, they require licensed low-voltage installers who know how to run cable, mount hardware properly, terminate connectors that don't fail, and configure devices that don't get hacked.
Security AllStar is our partner for the physical installation, low-voltage cabling, and on-site configuration of camera and access control hardware. Maverick handles the network integration (camera VLANs, firewall rules, remote viewing, secure cloud backup), the ongoing IT support, and the cybersecurity layer (so your IP cameras don't become entry points for attackers, which is a major risk on consumer-grade installations).
One project, one project manager, one bill, two specialty teams. You don't have to coordinate between vendors.
We work with the major commercial brands — specific brand selection depends on use case, integration requirements, and budget. We are NOT tied to one manufacturer and will tell you straight which brand fits the application. Brands we routinely deploy include Hikvision, Axis Communications, Avigilon, Verkada, Eagle Eye Networks, and Hanwha. For access control: HID, OpenPath (Avigilon Alta), Brivo, and DSX.
Modern AI smart cameras include motion-based recording (so you only review footage when something happens), person/vehicle/license-plate detection, intrusion-zone alerts, two-way audio, mobile review from anywhere, and night vision. Through our partner Security AllStar we design, install, configure, and support complete systems for retail, professional offices, multi-tenant buildings, and industrial sites.
No. We are not a monitoring service — we design, install, and support the camera system itself. Your team or a dedicated monitoring service handles live viewing. We do configure smart alerts so the system notifies the right people when an event occurs (intrusion, motion in restricted zones, license plate match), and we maintain the system so it stays operational.
Yes. Through Security AllStar we install and configure access control systems — keycard / fob / mobile-credential entry, biometric readers, intercom, electric strike and maglock door hardware, time-based access schedules, and visitor management. Access control integrates with the camera system so you have video and entry logs tied together.
Security AllStar is our partner for physical security infrastructure — camera systems, access control, alarm integration, and structured cabling for security devices. They handle the licensed low-voltage and security installation work; we handle the network integration, the cybersecurity layer, and the ongoing IT support. One project manager, one phone number, two specialty teams.
Yes in most cases. AI smart camera systems integrate with Alarm.com, ADT, and most professional alarm platforms. Access control can integrate with most major alarm panels too. We confirm compatibility during the site survey before recommending equipment.
